The intensity of sunlight at the Earth?s surface is 1.2 kWm-2
a. Find the electric field of this radiation at the Earth?s surface.
b. Find the radiation pressure if the sunlight is 100% reflected at normal

A uniform plane wave with a magnitude of 3000 Vm-1 and a frequency of
100 MHz is propagating in free space. It is incident on seawater

expressions for the transmitted E and H fields if the incident E field is linearly

NOTE: In answering this problem you should carefully define the coordinate
system you are using. Also, you cannot use the approximation n = ? e to find
the refractive index in seawater.
Light of wavelength 500nm in glass with a refractive index of 1.5 is incident at
