Course: IT460 Unit: 5 Object Modeling
______________________________________________________
Our challenge this week is to build an object model for the TIMS system.
Some of the details from Jesse?s emails include the following criteria. Please
be sure to read the entirety of the emails on the SCR site. To summarize,
these are your main goals.
For the object model for TIMS, start with the JAD summary and reference
same entities that you already identified. If an external entity, such as a
student, interacts with the system, then you should identify that entity as an
actor ? and sketch out (3) use cases that shows the interaction. For each
use case, remember to create a use case description, which looks like a
table with sections for use case name, actor, description, successful
completion, alternatives, preconditions, post-conditions, and assumptions.
Next, draw a use case diagram that shows the actors and their actions.
Remember to put a system boundary around the diagram so you?ll know
what is internal and what is external to the system.

For the object model for TIMS, identify three use cases to demonstrate
interaction. For each use case, remember to create a use case
description, which looks like a table with sections for use case name,
actor, description, successful completion, alternatives, preconditions,
post-conditions, and assumptions.
Create use case diagram that shows the actors and their actions.
